Don Deal is one of Microgaming’s single-payline, three-reel slot games. Themed after Don, a man in the Mafia, this game has a decent amount of bonus features and a respectable jackpot. Rather than operating on the standard one coin per payline, Don Deal allows you to use up to two coins, though you can play with just one if you prefer to. Under normal circumstances, the top jackpot is $8,000, but there are multipliers and a bonus round that can substantially increase that amount.
Wagering limits are between $0.25 and $5 per coin, with a two-coin maximum. This is not a fruit machine, so you cannot use holding and nudging features, but there are a wild symbol and a multiplier symbol. Don Deal is the kind of fast-paced game that you can play for hours on end, or just for a quick sitting.
Because there is not a bonus game to break up the playing, Don Deal is an easy game to play in multiple windows. If you play in multiple windows, you can play at lower limits while still giving yourself twice the chances to hit the major jackpots. Whether you play with one coin at a time or two is mostly irrelevant, but it becomes more important if you want to play at higher betting limits. Another advantage of its fast-paced nature is that you can effectively double your playing limits by playing in two windows at once. Of course, doing so can be your downfall if you are not careful.
The symbols are relatively easy to remember because there are not as many as in a five-reel slot game. The cash symbol is the wild symbol, meaning that you can use it as a substitute for other symbols; it also counts as a multiplier, so this is probably the most important symbol in the game. The other symbols are standard bars, sevens and cherries. The theme and symbols aren’t as loud or extreme as those in some of Microgaming’s other slots, but less is more in Don Deal.
